40x33 cm
Oil, acrylic and ink on chiffon
2024
The painting is part of my "Vision Diary" series, in which I juxtapose the paintings with fantastic short stories. The stories are thought games of the past, future and present. The paintings are collage-like games beyond space and time.
"Named after the old Japanese tradition of repairing fragments with gold, the new technology promised to solve the world's storage-space problem. Instead of saving the entire file, only fragments of it were stored. Like foundation stones, small markers were preserved, from which the entire file could be computationally restored with an accuracy of 99.99%. It was already too late when it later became clear how important this 0.01% is to make sense of this world."
